The economy of the area is firmly based upon agriculture. Throughout the year, associations and clubs such as "l'oustal per totes" organise dances and themed evenings. The 12th century church was once linked to the castle, of which only remnants are left today. Lady chapels enlarge a short, vaulted nave, whilst the apse and the chevet are ornamented by an arch with three romanesque windows.
To the west of the church is the communal pasture, upon which herds of sheep graze and have done so since before the Revolution. Today, the grazing rights remain strictly regulated; good pasture land produces good cheese!
